Raashan Ahmad hosts - I Got A Story To Tell (Live storytelling event)

Ok so bear with me on this one. I've been processing the last I Got A Story To Tell event this past Friday at El Museo Cultural De Santa Fe. So powerful and vulnerable and funny and personal... just the expression of the storytellers was beyond what I imagined, it was so incredible. I was moved to tears several times and personally just felt such pride in knowing these beautiful humans plus the space the audience held with such care and love was so so amazing. Thank you Santa Fe for coming out and packing the place and for supporting this event! Michael Davis ,Faridah Ndiaye , Shontez MorrisLoveless Johnson IIIMi'Jan CelieHakim Bellamy, and Ridd. THANK YOU! What a celebration of black history/future! Y'all are beautiful and I'm so thankful to have you in community. Also, I want to give a HUGE shout to Maria from El Museo who was literally pulling seats out of nowhere as the theatre neared capacity to make sure everyone had a space to sit and just allowed us to use this perfect space for this event. Also BIG love to Adam Mackary who came through and filmed and brought a mic on such short notice to record the stories plus Alex Ignacio who came from out of nowhere with his rig to not only also film but mic up every single storyteller to document this night (coming soon:! Plus mad love and thanks to Shawn Patrick Boyd who came to take some of these great pics and Mustiqirr Muhammad who after my last 3 gigs has been the last one out with me helping to carry my gear and just lend overall support, Thank you! Taking March off since I'm heading out to tour but see you at the next one in April! My soul needed this one fam...Much love ❤️
