This was my first time in West Africa, first time singing, first time recording a song in another language, the first time being surrounded by so much beautiful black skin in my life. So thankful to Tie Lpm (one of my best friends) who encouraged me to sing this song with her and finally get to Senegal! We are all so connected across these imaginary borders...❤️
