As founder and chair of the Empower! Black Futures Community Fund, former Santa Fe Arts Commissioner and board member of the National Parks Arts Foundation, I advocate for artists, cultural equity, and opportunities that uplift underrepresented voices.

I embarked on a personal storytelling journey to connect with other African Americans in Santa Fe, aiming to explore feelings of isolation and reflect on the experiences of Black folks in this small city. This project is a journey of discovery for both myself and the community, offering a powerful reflection of Black life in Santa Fe.
